About Dr. Alice Shi

Dr. Alice Shi, doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) - acupuncturist and herbalist, has been in practice and research in the TCM field for the past 20 years.

Her practice focuses on the treatment of a variety of conditions including women’s health and infertility, pain management, allergies, asthma, eczema, depression, headache, chronic fatigue syndrome, immune disorders, smoking, and weight management, as well as helping cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation.

She is a licensed Doctor of Acupuncture in the State of Rhode Island. She has also received certification as a Diplomat in Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree from the prestigious Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.

Dr. Shi’s approach to healing and wellness is both understanding and compassionate. She works with each of her patients individually, offering them an extensive personal evaluation, assessment and treatment plan, as well as discussing their personal health care and lifestyle concerns. Her goal is to promote healing and prevent illness, stimulating overall good health and an improved quality of life.
